About LaserStrip
LaserStrip Ltd is a UK supplier of pulsed fibre laser cleaning machines, based in Leeds. We sell and hire six machines from 200W to 2000W, deliver them across the UK mainland with operational training, and support them from Leeds after the sale.
What we do
- Supply laser cleaning machines. Six pulsed fibre (MOPA, 1064nm) models from the 200W to the 2000W, built around JPT laser sources, each operated through a handheld cleaning gun on a mobile, air-cooled unit. The 500W is our main commercial machine. Every price is published on the price list.
- Configure, train and support. Machines are configured and tested for mobile commercial use and arrive with hands-on operational training, safety documentation, wavelength-rated eye protection and signage, and UK technical support.
- Hire machines for a defined project. Laser cleaning machine hire by the week or month, one-week minimum.
- Introduce finance. Business finance through an FCA-regulated credit broker. LaserStrip is not a lender. See machine finance.
- Offer Business Launch, separately. An optional commercial launch and support package for machine owners. It does not guarantee work, revenue or business success. See Business Launch.
What we do not do
- We do not take on cleaning work. We supply the equipment; we do not subcontract jobs to buyers or hand over a pipeline of work.
- We do not run a demonstration circuit. Buying is by phone and online: tell us the work, we recommend the machine, send a written quotation, and it arrives with training. A sample test is reserved for large production applications with a tightly defined specification.
- We do not sell a laser for the wrong job. Render, plasterboard, most plastics and heavily pitted steel are among the cases where we will say a laser is the wrong tool. See find your machine.
- We do not take over your safety duties. A Class 4 laser falls under the Control of Artificial Optical Radiation at Work Regulations 2010. Risk assessments, RAMS, site controls, competent operation and insurance stay with the operator.
Who runs LaserStrip

How we sell a machine
- You tell us the work: what you are removing, what it is on, and how much of it there is.
- We recommend one machine and configuration, and say what we would skip and why.
- You get a written quotation with the price, delivery to your postcode and the finance position for your business type.
- You buy by phone or online, with a refundable deposit if you want to reserve the build slot.
- The machine is delivered with training, typically two to eight weeks from first enquiry.
