Hire rates depend on duration and location. We offer daily, weekly, and monthly rates with discounts for longer agreements. Because every hire includes delivery, training, and support not just the unit our rates reflect the full commercial package. Do I need laser training to hire the machine? +

Yes and we provide it as part of every hire. A pulsed fibre laser is a Class 4 laser, which means it is legally classified as hazardous and requires formal operator training before use. Our on-site briefing covers safe operation, parameter settings for different surfaces, PPE requirements, and the key points of UK laser safety legislation. You'll leave the training session confident and compliant.

Can I hire the machine to try before buying? +

Yes this is one of the most popular reasons to hire. A weekly or monthly hire lets you experience the machine commercially: test it on real jobs, understand the revenue potential, build your pipeline, and decide whether purchasing outright is the right move. On monthly hire agreements, hire fees can be offset against a subsequent purchase.

Do you deliver the machine to me, or do I need to collect from Leeds? +

We deliver to you, anywhere in the UK. Our team will bring the machine to your site or workshop, run your training session on-site, and collect at the end of the hire period. You never need to travel to Leeds though you're always welcome to visit our studio to see the machine before hiring.

What surfaces can I clean during my hire period? +

A pulsed fibre laser machine handles all seven LaserStrip service categories: kitchen door and cabinet stripping, graffiti removal (brick, stone, metal, glass), heritage stone cleaning (BS 8221-1:2012 compliant), Victorian sandstone restoration, oak beam and timber stripping, rust and paint removal from metal, and automotive body panel prep. Your training session covers the specific laser parameters for each surface type, so you can work across all seven during your hire period.

What happens if the machine develops a fault during my hire? +

Every hire includes UK technical support for the duration of your agreement. If you experience any issue with the machine, call our support line and we'll diagnose remotely or attend on-site if required. We maintain our machines rigorously, but in the rare event of a significant fault we'll arrange a replacement or credit the affected period of your hire.
